Why did you choose ITA?
Many things really, the first being the opportunity to contribute to such an industry changing effort. ITA is at the forefront of technology for the travel industry, and as employees we can take pride in seeing results that are shaping the industry. Other options I was considering at the time I joined ITA could not compare. The second reason is all about people. I have met some great engineers and managers during my career, and ITA has become a hub for many of them. As the company grows, I am seeing more and more familiar faces - faces I trust and know as leaders in their fields.

What's been your most exciting achievement at ITA?
Watching my project take shape each day is exciting. It was also really fun when ITA sponsored the film "Nerdcore Rising" and brought rapper MC Frontalot to the office to drop some rhymes with the team.

What do you like best about ITA?
No other company has the continued passion and respect for employees that ITA does. Everyone talks about the ideal start-up atmosphere and caliber of team members, but ITA delivers it. I have worked at some great companies, including Lycos and VeriSign, but when it comes to truly taking care of employees, ITA is the best.

What interesting things have you learned outside of your job responsibilities at ITA or from ITA co-workers?
I was introduced to some great movies at ITA's Movie Camp (B run movie nights), and also learned beer brewing techniques from ITA employees who have been brewing their own beer for over 10 years.

What activities/hobbies are you involved in outside of ITA?
I am working on remodeling my home. It allows me to have another creative outlet. I am also a member of the mostly ITA dodgeball team with the BSSC. It takes me back to middle school, since we play at a middle school in Watertown.
