Why did you choose ITA?
Coming off an academic track with a background in Large Scale Optimization and Artificial Intelligence, I was interested in working with an application that offered solutions to a combination of complex problems. The airline industry is filled with interesting and complex problems, and it's been fun getting to know them.

What's been your most exciting achievement at ITA?
My most exciting achievement is learning to navigate the business as well as the technical challenges in the area of airline distribution. I think I've been able to guide towards solutions that are both technically sound and meet business constraints on various projects.

What do you like best about ITA?
In my current role at ITA, I enjoy the ability to work directly with various types of customers, airline partners, and our bright engineering and industry experts. I get to apply problem solving skills that range from making sure all the parties are speaking the same language to actually thinking through technical solutions to problems like networking infrastructure and statistical data analysis.

What interesting things have you learned outside of your job responsibilities at ITA or from ITA co-workers?
When I joined ITA, I started playing on the ITA volleyball team and my skills improved thanks to the generous coaching of ITA colleagues. I've lately joined the yoga class at ITA and that's motivated me to take time for myself at least once a week.

What activities/hobbies are you involved in outside of ITA?
Outside of ITA, all my time is devoted to my family and my children's school community. When the weather is nice, I love to go walking or biking by the Charles River.
