Product Analyst

As Product Analyst, you will be leading the development and management of business requirements for new features and core product features from concept to delivery.  The analyst will be a primary interface between the Commercial organization and Development, QA & Operations for his or her product area of responsibility

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of product requirements gathering and documenting features for your area of responsibility
  • Develop feature descriptions, user requirements and use cases for area of responsibility
  • Complete analysis of enhancement requests proposed from appropriate stakeholders, including putting together a business case when needed
  • Support development with the triage of bugs for current release as it pertains to industry requirements
  • Research industry requirements, common practices and system implications relative to feature area of responsibility as needed 
  • Manage feature product requests (enhancements) from customer implementations of product
  • Responsible for managing your features throughout the product lifecycle for each release
  • Support the product manager in developing the product feature roadmap based upon ITA internal requests, external requests and market/industry drivers
  • Responsible for product feature documentation
  • Coordinate release schedules for existing customers and new customer implementations of product 
  • Support Business Development and Account Management as product feature and requirement subject matter expert (SME) as needed
  • Participate in industry meetings/conferences to continue the development of ITA product roadmap and ensure compliance within the industry/market


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in the travel industry and software development
  • Experience with software design & development as part of a large/complex mission critical application
  • Experience with various aspects of software product development in a fast-pace environment
  • Experience with various aspects of software development involving high performance critical user interfaces 
  • Knowledgeable of airline industry practices and emerging standards for ATPCO, ATA and IATA as it pertains to Passenger Service Systems (Reservations   & Ticketing, Inventory Control & Departure Control Systems).  
  • Experience with airline distribution as it pertains to GDS & OTA distribution as well as code share and interline partnerships.
