Build and Integration Manager, Reservation Operations

ITA is seeking a Build and Integration Manager to lead the team
responsible for building and regression testing the components of
ITA's airline reservation system. The Build and Integration team is
responsible for continuously integrating the system in order to
provide quick feedback on the quality of the code during rapid
development. Additionally, this team monitors code builds and
supporting environments, maintains the environments used by
engineering to support pre-checkin regressions, and works to extend
the amount of automation that exists in the software lifecycle. The
team lead will be responsible maintaining a level of technical
excellence throughout the team.

Responsibilities:

- -Oversee continuous, automated deployments of components.
- -Report to stakeholders on regression tests run against the continuous
integration environment.
• Build and maintain servers used by engineering to run pre-checkin
regressions.
• Partner with engineering to understand evolving regression needs.
• Partner with quality assurance to expand the number of available
integration tests.
• Document build and integration processes in the corporate wiki.
• Work with junior staff to increase the technical skill level of the
entire team.
• Develop and maintain appropriate monitoring for build systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years experience developing software, scripts, or
tools used to ship enterprise-scale, production-quality software.
• Accomplished track record as team lead and/or manager, three or more years of experience in a technical lead role.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Fluency with common build tools such as cvs, svn, gnu make, scons.
• Expertise with the UNIX/Linux command-line toolkit.
• Significant experience with scripting and automation.
• Ability to systematically debug failed builds.
