Implementation Engineer

To support our growing customer base and expanding product line, ITA is looking for experienced candidates for the position of Implementation Engineer as part of the ITA Implementation and Technical Services organization. As an Implementation Engineer and Technical Consultant, your role will be to help set up and implement new customers and to assist existing customers with evaluating and deploying ITA’s products and solutions. You will become an expert in ITA’s searching and pricing software at a technical level, with the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical staff at customers and at prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the analysis of customer business requirements and product objectives
• Work closely with customers to integrate with ITA products, understanding their business requirements and identifying the best approach
• Assist customer in the development of software and processes to integrate a variety of customer technologies into ITA's core airline pricing systems
• Provide training and guidance for customer technical teams in how to get the best out of ITA's systems
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers via a consultative approach to application configuration and usage
• Document and communicate customer requirements for new and enhanced features, functions and products to ITA Product and Engineering management
• Participate in pre-sales technical sessions

• Quick learner of new and complex systems with a strong problem-solving, analytical skills and solution oriented personality
• Meticulous quality focus and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel
• Need to be able to think outside of the box to develop creative solutions to complex problems and the confidence to participate and contribute within a fast-paced, technically aggressive, highly skilled organization

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Windows 2003 Server or Linux operating system familiarity
• XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web services skills
• Apache, Tomcat familiarity
• Perl, Python, Java, .NET or other programming language experience
