Talk Topic: Which Online Travel Websites are Best?
Bob Cowen, Internet Travel Guru
January 9, 2008

Abstract
Over the past 5 years, purchasing travel has changed 180 degrees. This has caused companies to fold and new ones to meteorically emerge. For travel suppliers, the challenge is to better understand when, why and how travel is purchased. ITA Software is in the forefront of the on-line travel revolution. Bob Cowen will discuss how ITA Software, its clients and others have approached these challenges and how it can be done even better. Bob will also discuss other innovative travel web sites and offer his projections of the best travel web sites of the future.

Bio
Bob Cowen has been an avid follower of ITA Software since it was founded, never hesitating to offer advice or to make his opinions known. He's flown more than 2 million miles, usually making his own arrangements. He really knows how to use the Internet to save on travel but not at the expense of convenience or comfort. He's known as The Internet Travel Guru and says the challenge is to find the most useful information with the fewest mouse clicks.

Bob has been on numerous radio and TV programs and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, US News & World Report, Business Week Magazine and many other local and national newspapers. He also runs a travel tips web site: InternetTravelTips.

When he's not on-the-road, Bob sells software but also consults and educates businesses and their travelers about how they can travel more efficiently and maximize their travel budgets, even if they have a travel department or use a travel agency.

The Internet offers a wealth of information about travel. The challenge is how to quickly find and use the best sites.
