  ITAers Volunteer at East End House
East End House is a not-for-profit, multi-service community center and social service agency that provides programs and services to strengthen family and community. On October 20, 2009, ITA volunteers helped school-aged kids during homework hour and assisted during break out sessions that included tae bo, a personal identity class, and an outdoor nature class held at the nearby John A Ahern Field.
 
  
  ITA Volunteers Prepare Food Boxes at the Greater Boston Food Bank
ITA employees visited the Greater Boston Food Bank on September 16, 2009 to pack boxes of food for hunger-relief agencies throughout eastern Massachusetts. At the end of the evening, 6280 lbs. of food had been sorted, enough for 3864 meals. The largest non-profit hunger-relief organization in New England, the Greater Boston Food Bank's mission is to help end hunger in eastern Massachusetts.
 
 
  ITA Volunteers Prepare Meal at Boston's Pine Street Inn
Every night, close to 7,000 men, women, and children in the city of Boston have no home. Pine Street Inn strives to provide the full spectrum of services to help men and women reach their highest level of independence and get back to a place they can call home. On August 14th, 2009, ITA employees visited the Inn to serve dinner to 287 men and then clear the dining room.
 
ITAers Serve at Boston Homeless Shelter
ITA employees prepped and served dinner to 115 women at Rosie's Place on July 13, 2009. Rosie's Place, a shelter for Boston area women, offers emergency and long-term assistance to women who have nowhere else to turn.
 
ITA Volunteers Beautify Charles River Pathway
On May 15, 2009, 170 ITA employees, friends, and family turned out to paint nearly a mile of railing between the Longfellow Bridge and  Lechmere Canal along the Charles River in Cambridge.

The project was coordinated through the Charles River Conservancy, a nonprofit citizens' advocacy group dedicated to the renewal of the Charles River Parklands from the Boston Harbor to the Watertown Dam. 
 
  ITA TCEs and ASMs Volunteer at Local Shelter
On March 26, 2009 ITA's ASM/TC team painted a section of the Woods Mullen Shelter in Boston that had not been painted in ten years due to lack of resources.

The Woods Mullen Shelter is an emergency shelter operated by the Boston Public Health Commission Homeless Services Bureau. Woods Mullen provides food, clothing, health care, and case management services for anyone who is in need.
